It’s only the third day that the little girl has no classes and I can see that she is definitely bored. Despite the fact that she has the computer, IPAD, and the TV to entertain her plus her older cousin to play with. This morning she is asking if we can now go to SM. Oh, indeed she wants to go out. haha. I am counting the days till my next check up and I wish this time I will received the good news.

My mommy friends have been raving about this particular restaurant for months now. Actually we plan on eating here before my accident. Unfortunately our schedule did not fit and now I am still recovering so I did not have a chance to eat here until the little girl’s moving up. I know it would be a great chance because one there is no potluck in school which only means we would be so hungry after the celebration. Then the ceremony was scheduled 4 to 6pm so we don’t have time to cook dinner. Then we have a vehicle with us so I won’t have a hard time travelling and according to a friend it has no elevated surface which is good for me. Well, I don’t really mind the elevated surface if it’s not to high and I don’t need to climb the stairs. I very much appreciated establishments who have facilities for handicap. Really it’s hard to be one even if its temporary. I guess stuff like handicap pool lifts are good and useful tools. It makes moving around easier even if you are handicap. I wish all pools have this one.

I remember the talk that was given in the PTC that was given yesterday in Anevay’s school when the school owner said that when you have a toddler in the house it is expected that your house would always be dirty, full of scratches and drawings and some posters. When we bought our house it was beautifully and newly painted. A few months and our door was full of scribbles already and even the walls. haha. I just let it be since it can be repainted. Now, the crayons are still there but there are some addition. lol. Aside from the folder that I have been using to put in all her drawings my daughter demanded that her drawings be put on the wall. So she have a wall of her own just like the one in school.

Most of us prefer frying over other cooking methods because it is simply the fasted way to cook, right? And I am one of those. But because I am a bit on the health conscious side I am finding some ways to avoid frying. Or if I fry I used little oil. And right now I am using olive oil (though I am still researching if it’s suitable for frying). I just discovered that not all oil are okay to use to fry.

As I said in my previous entry I dedicated half of my day cleaning the house. The highlight of which is cleaning our bathroom. I am thankful that I have chosen the right products to help me with my cleaning. Ever since I discovered them I do not switch brands anymore. I am reading some articles about herbs. I really wanted to explore the thought of putting up a small herb garden in our house. I know it would be a bit challenging because it requires time and effort but I have to make it work because it would be a big help for me when it comes to my health. So I was thinking of sourcing out some herbs, then soil and putting them together in a pot. I don’t have that much sand in our house so pots are my only option.

This morning our landline kept on ringing. And it rang when I was preparing the little girl to school. Just imagine my irritation for the interruption. And guess what? All calls are wrong numbers. And I have to answer all ten calls. Yes, ten! I cannot help myself from using my irate voice to the caller and I have even asked him what number was he calling. He said it’s 927, I told him ours is 948. I thought it was over, our phone rang again, and it was my sister in law. lol. And she told me that she is having a hard time calling our number. She dialled our number for about ten times also and she always end up being told that she got the wrong number. Haha. Seems like PLDT phone system is messed up this morning. I already called their hotline. Hopefully it would fixed today.

Been busy offline. Still had a lot of things to do but my priority now to have another general cleaning before the husband gets home. I am also looking for my pink timex watch which the husband bought for me last Christmas. I really can’t find it. Grr! I so love it and now I am so irritated with myself because I can seem to find it. Really! I am thinking if I should hire a cleaning lady or do the cleaning myself. I am so tired already and don’t want to push my limit. But sometimes I am not satisfied with other people cleaning our house. haha. Oh well, I’ll think about it. For now i am praying that I would be able to find the watch during the general cleaning. But I did bought a new one. hahaha. Shh!

One of the advantages that I had when I decided to limit my online time was that I am able to accomplish a lot of household chores. Before I would sit in front of the computer for about two to three hours in the morning or I would stay very late at night but now that I have a preschooler and my health is a bit in question, I really put an ultimatum to myself. It’s a hard decision because it actually slows down the cash flow but I believe health is wealth. So, aside from being able to focus on my day to day task like preparing the little girl to school and cooking, I would say I was able to clean up our house all by myself. The gutter is now unclogged, thanks to a hired help and I also contacted those that trim trees. Fortunately they were able to trim the avocado and mango tree just outside our gate and then since the street sweeper who is assigned to our street is missing in action, I have to clean up and sweep two months more of dried leaves. haha. But I am happy. Hopefully my condition would be much better because I planned on cleaning up the garden soon.

I am thankful that our house is located near schools, church and banks. Also there are a lot of surrounding establishments that offers a lot of activities for toddlers. Right now I am happy that we have transferred the little one to the new school. She is quite happy with it. And then I also enrolled her in ballet lessons. At first I was really hesitant but when the Teacher let her joined one session as a trial, when we went home she is quite happy and never stopped talking about it. So, yes, she is taking two ballet lessons per week (Wednesday and Saturday).
