One of my childhood dreams is to be able to own a house for my family. I wanted to settle down and raise my kids in a house that is under our name. Contrary to my experience growing up (wherein I only live in one house for 15 years), in my adult years I was able to live in five different apartment. All of which have a thing or two that I don’t really like. That’s why I was really bent on owning a house that is up to my standard.
And that dream was granted by the Lord. But I realized owning a house is not that simple. Unlike renting, if you encounter a problem, you just have to report it to the owner and they will fixed it. As a home owner, you will do all maintenance and make sure you do them before a problem occur. This I realized along the way. Though challenging, I am still happy. Owning a house have somehow help me gain some prespective in life. And that’s what I am going to share with you…my discoveries, my learnings as a homemaker.
