My day started in a not so good way. I woke up still feeling achy and cannot sleep through the night. At around 4:30 am, my little girl woke up and called me up. When I touch her, she is a little bit hot. I checked her temperature and I was right, she has a fever. She did not go back to bed but insisted on playing. Though sick she still is energetic. And that is one of the things that I am thankful for. As well as ….
- as of this writing her fever has gone down already. I am very thankful for that
- despite the fact that I am feeling sick too, I still have the strength and patience to look after my little girl
- reconnecting with my college friends ( last time I have seen them was in 2005)
There are lots of things to thank God about but for now that’s all I can think of. You know how it is when you have a sick girl, you are always on the egde. Of course, I am thankful for that also because it makes us mom stronger, right? You what are you thankful for?
