Time Out! ...

I need a massage badly plus some tender loving scrub followed by pampering of different bath body products. I am so stressed out not only because I am thinking about our budget but also I don’t know what I wanted to do in the future. You can say I have been restless. I wanted to go out from being the stereotype wife to making a career for myself without my family time suffering. I was already planning on getting a job as an instructor but when I thought about not being able to be available when the husband comes for his vacation was a big turn off to me. I don’t know what I am going to do or what I want right now. So, while figuring it out I am taking it one step at a time.

On Saving ...

I am having a hard time thinking of our finances right now. Well, we are still within the budget but what I want is that I can find some more additional sources of income to help the husband. Also, we have lots of plan coming up that needs big funding. This December we are hoping that we can go back to Kuwait, so that we can bond a longer time. Then by July of next year we plan to go to Disneyland as a gift to our daughter. I am thinking of getting a job but I had second thought because I know my time will suffer. And I don’t want anybody dictating on my schedule. I am just praying that I can find a job that would let me work on my time and at home. Right now I am currently searching and I know in time I would find what God has planned for me.

Cut wire ...

I was trying to shrug off my laziness today. So instead of spending my time with our xbox, I decided to wash our clothes. And to my surprise when I plug the extension in the socket there was a spark. I readily unplugged the wires and got another extension. To my surprise our washing machine did not turn on. I try to inspect at the machine and to my horror I found out the electric wiring was cut because it was eaten by a rat. My! Another expense coming soon. And well, I end up reading ebook instead of working. Oh well, tomorrow will be another day. And I have to go visit a laundry shop until I got my washing machine repaired.

Hongkong or Tokyo? ...

For her 7th birthday next year, our little girl is asking to visit Disneyland. The husband and I agree on it already. We won’t be throwing her a party which was supposedly the trend right now since I am not really a big fan of parties. And I guess, it would be much memorable if we again go on a trip for her birthday. I remember reading one interview of a famous DJ who said that one of the greatest gift that his parent give them are the vacations to different places. Because of those travels his knowledge increase and that he believes greatly contribute to his success. I do believe in this that’s why the husband and I make it a point to go to places every year. So now, we are thinking which one is nicer Tokyo or Disneyland? I am going to start my research now.

Be Considerate ...

Yesterday we were already running late and to my dismay a car was occupying a portion of our driveway. I asked the ladies in the business establishments in front of us but they cannot give me an idea who parked the car there. I was really pissed off but decided to just ride a tricycle to go to the school of the little girl. There’s no point in looking for the driver because my daughter might end up late. But once she is in school I decided to go home and look for the driver. The lady on the laundry shop told me that the car was there already when she arrived around 7am. So that gives me an idea that they might be our new neighbor. The house beside us is for rent and when I checked the sign that says it’s for rent is no longer there. I decided to call the agent who is in charge of  the house and asked her if there is someone in the house. And told me that there is but she is not sure if they owned the car. She told me to just knock. It took around 10 minutes for them to answer and when they did they were not so happy being disturbed. But my point is, they should have been considerate to their neighbors. It’s just logic to not block any driveway. I don’t know what the driver was thinking but I am really pissed with her. I do hope this won’t happen again.

Speed Dating Etiquette ...

Do you have any idea how it’s like to go for a speed dating session? Plenty of people are intrigued with speed dating sessions and wants to try it out, but most are not quite sure what they can expect from speed dating. Well, as the name suggested, speed dating is all about speed ans acting fast. You are usually given certain amount of time to ‘date’ each participants of the speed dating session.

The main purpose of speed dating is to introduce participants to one another on a short period of time. So in short, you introduce yourselves to one another, exchange contacts, and if you wish to keep in touch with each other, you may do so after the speed dating session.

Around Ilocos ...

On our third day on the road our daughter is nursing a fever. We were trying to weigh what to do…drive to Manila or drive to Bangui. In the end, it was our daughter who told us to continue. Of course, we agreed to tour some more because she is feeling a lot better. So, we were of Brgy. Curimao at around 9am. From there we will be driving to Bangui Windmills. Of course, along the way we would be looking for other tourist spots. Here are some pictures.

Importance of online survey ...

How important are online survey? Why do some companies used them and would insert them sometimes in their website. One of the best example of this surveys and I think most of us are familiar with is when an app would asked the user to rate the application and if possible provide some feedback on what improvement can be added to it. Though most of the users would ignore such questions, there are those who would really take their time. And I thank those user who would unselfishly share their time by answering the survey because this not only help the company/individual but also those consumer/user. It will tell the company of how to improve and the consumer what to expect of the product and if it’s worth to used it or not.

Nervous and Fervently Praying ...

Right now, our country is being plagued by heavy rain. According to report and which is really making nervous is the condition of the Marikina River. As of now, the water has almost reached the bridge and that some of car owners have made the bridge a parking lot. The authorities are asking this owner to vacate the bridge because there might be a possibility that the load and the water will affect the strength of the bridge. Oh Lord, I am begging you, please it’s only you who can stop the rain. I am imploring your mercy to please not give us any more water and give us the courage and wisdom to pass this trial. God, please have mercy on us.

Fever Night ...

When we were in the resort, the little girl got sick. I was a bit irritated because there was a school from Manila who are also having the Ilocos Tour and are booked in the resort. They are to noisy. And they would run around and pass through our room giggling. I was on the verge on requesting to lower down their noise but I know I don’t have the right. I was just thankful that because we are all tired we have deep sleep. We did not even hear if they were singing their hearts out using the MF karaoke machine. You know here in our country karaoke and videoke machines are a hit. When ever there is a party or just simple get together, the machine is there so that friends could bond over singing. It is a sure way to put a spark in the party!
