When RA strikes ...

There are days that are good but there are days that are worst. When this worst day comes, I am confined in the bed and would get as much rest as needed. It really is hard since I am a mother and my husband is working outside the country and not at home most of the time. One of the most challenging days that I encountered is when I suffer rheumatoid arthritis like pain and could barely walk nor do any house chores because of the severe pain in my hands. When this happen I have to double up on my dose of prednisone and take some pain killers. It really is hard especially when my daughter wants to play with me or would have to go somewhere for her activity. Fortunately for me because of the changes that I have made with my eating habits I don’t experience those worst days anymore and I do pray I won’t have to experience them in the future because it affects not only my activity but also my mood and they way I deal with things. It really pays to know the adjustment you can do to make sure that you live your life as normal as possible even if you have a disease.

Summer Program in Filipino ...

When summer started I was telling the husband that why is it that everywhere I go I saw sign about summer reading programs. There are even posters that says they can make y0ur child read within two weeks. If not, they will give you back their money. Then there are also math program and sports but not one offer Filipino. lol. The husband was telling me because Filipino is the spoken language of the majority that’s why there is no need for any tutorial for it. But I told him, some kids need it, especially one kid, our kid :) If I can only find a school that would offer tutorials for it, I would definitely grab it. And maybe because I am already sending silent prayer about it, I received a text from Anevay’s teacher that they would be offering Filipino this summer. Hallelujiah! I did not think twice I told them they would be seeing Anevay this summer and right now she is on her third day and she is loving it. I wish by next year she understand and speaks Filipino already.
