Another Home! ...
We finally paid the equity of our house in Antipolo in full. I haven’t talked yet to the developer so I don’t know what to do next. But based on what we previously talked they would start the construction soon while I prepare my pagibig account to start paying the home loan. I don’t what will happen but I am very thankful that we have accomplished another goal. I really wanted to acquire lots of real estate, it’s a good investment I think. I really don’t plan on decorating it nor buying hot tub covers for our new house because we planned to rent it and earn some bucks from it. Hopefully the rent would be enough to pay the monthly amortization. After this, I hope we can buy a lot and start building another house from scratch. That’s one of husband’s greatest wish. And hopefully we can achieved it.
My daughter passed her exam in St. Scho, she is admitted for Grade one under conditional basis. She’s only 5 and 11 months on June. I am still considering Assumption and Miriam but friends tell me that it might be too late, said schools might have already given exams for Grade one. I am happy right now with my daughter’s school. Based on the result of her exam, she is at par with student her age. And I am still contemplating if we would go the traditional way or stick with the progressive/montessori approach since I think she is responding very well to it. I am still on the stage of considering my options. But, Smallville Montessori, the school where my daughter is currently enrolled in preschool will now offer Grades one to three this coming school year. What I like about this school is that they have small population. My daughter is in her last stage of preschool and they are only four in the class (including her). They deal with the students individually, assessed them on what they know and what they learned and from there they would be guiding their student step by step. Teachers know their students by heart. And most of all, they are open to suggestions if you talk to them the proper way. And their school has a homey feel. If you wanted to know more about them you can visit their fanpage in FB
Chores to do ...
I have a long list of things to do but unfortunately I have not cross out anything yet. Imagine, even going to the grocery is not yet done. I have to stock up first and buy all the necessary stuff that have run out in our household. Actually I was able to buy water and LPG already so there I have accomplished even it’s small. I told myself that I would pat my shoulder even if it’s just a small achievement because it would help me go on the next task. Right now, I have to pay all the dues and talked to the real estate agent for the house in Antipolo. I also have to look up companies that provides equipment lease. Then also, I have to weigh my decision about the school of my daughter plus I should start looking for summer activities for her and start planning our summer getaway. Yehey! I am also looking forward to the husband’s vacation this March also the week of Lent. I would definitely make the most for 2012.
Our Bucket ...
Our Jollibee bucket was delivered yesterday. My brother have informed me that the staff from Jollibee are already asking when we are going to be back because they need to deliver the bucket. Yesterday when I call their hotline, after a few minutes I received a call from one of their delivery crew. He told me that he is going to deliver it thirty minutes after they deliver my order. This bucket serves as a payment for the tarpaulin that is in our gate. It’s been there already for a year and according to the crew it would be there for a very long time. I jokingly asked him if the bucket can be changed to other order but he just smiled. haha.
Getting Ready ...
I have tons of work to do when I get back. I think the first thing to do when we arrived home is to do some cleaning and grocery shopping because the next day would be classes for the little one already. Then I have to go to different government agencies which I am not looking forward to. But before all of this I have to endure the flight. I am not looking forward to it because being on the plane for about eight straight hours always give me aches if we are flying via economy. I choose economy to save some money
Oh Lord, please guide me on our trip.
My Rockstar! ...
A few days back while we were strolling we found a store that has some guitars for sale and I was surprised to see when our daughter pointed to us a guitar for kids. The husband inspect it and said it’s in a good condition. Our baby then told him that she wants it so the Daddy bought it for me. When we were home they played together. Actually she does not know how to play yet but she wanted to learn. So I told her that when we get home I would enroll her in a guitar lesson in the school in front of us. Hopefully they are still offering the lessons. Then I also plan to enroll her in swimming lessons for summer. I do have lots of plan for her so it would be busy when our vacation is over and we are home!
For this Year! ...
The husband has been trying to tell me over and over again that what I am doing right now is already a big help to him. He tells me that I have accomplished a lot even if I am not working. He would say this when I would have some moments of being unsure of myself and what I wanted to do. True, I don’t want to go back to working on an eight to five job. I know how stressful it is and I think after all the freedom I get without being bounded by time, I cannot just stay inside the office for eight straight hours. But I wanted to have a sense of accomplishment. Last year, I think I already know that blogging would take a back seat to me. I already explored it and got what I wanted. Now, it’s time for me to move on and do something big. Like starting to mingle with the real world. hahaha. So I told the husband that I would do some experimenting and research this year. We have a pet project that I would like to test and right now I have an idea on how to go about it. I am excited to do it and hopefully it will bear fruit. Wish me luck!
If I wanted steel rings should I look into different group buying sites or just search the internet to find the right supplier and talked to them. I think that is more reliable because today it came to my attention that there are some group buying sites that does not honor what they have advertise in their site. One example is the buffet that is being offered in one of the new and popular establishment in Manila. I remember when I was planning to watch the Sound of Music, my sister told me about the ongoing promo wherein the ticket valued at Php 2000 is just being sold for around Php 300+ which also comes with some cinema tickets and Php 1000 voucher to be used in the casino. The offer was tempting, imagine at that price you get to watch SOM. But my question is where will you watch it. What seat would you be occupying. Weeks before that offer was made I already checked the seats available and unfortunately almost all VIP seats are sold. And those seats are the ones that cost Php 2000. I don’t think that this coupon would really have you seat on the VIP. I think that at that time it was false advertising so I did not avail it. I am really cautious when buying something from this group buying sites. Or should I say I did not buy any stuff from them yet because my philosophy is that if you want something why not indulge right? Save for it so that you can get the best. Sometimes if you avail a service through a promo, you cannot demand anything. That’s my two cents of course. Others may not agree with me.
Almost Over ...
We are down to the last twelve days of our vacation and I am quite sad about it that I am lazy to move around. I know this is inevitable but still my heartache knowing that we will be leaving the husband soon and it would take around two months before we see him again. But I am excited to go home because I have a lot of plan. I need to do a lot of things and by the will of God I can find the courage and strength to start something that would take us closer to our goal. Also, the husband has already said that we can go to Boracay this summer. Before he does not want to go there because according to him it’s a bit crowded but now he said okay. If things feel into place I would be looking for a good hotel. According to him, don’t mind the rates just make sure it’s A-okay!
