Not yet done! ...
We have three luggage. One is for the little girl, the other two are for our clothes and stuff. The luggage of our daughter contains her newly acquired toys which she did not want to part as of the moment so I decided to bring them along in our trip. I opted to leave all the spa gift baskets that I have received because they will weight a ton and might result in us having exceed our baggage limit. Anyway, I still have some packing to do. Last minute checking and hopefully I would be done before our ride came. Merry Christmas everyone!
Merry Christmas everyone! Oh yeah, here I am working on Christmas morning. The days have went on two fast that I was not able to catch up. There are still work to be done and I am rushing. Isn’t it obvious. Well, I am lucky that my little girl is still sleeping. She was tired from our activity last night. It was not much but we decided to hear much in a church a bit far from home since I was a unimpressed with what our parish has done for our Christmas eve mass. Our decision to hear mass on a different church was a blessing since we went there early and we were asked to be part of the offertory. But I got cramped legs because we were standing for about one and half hour. It’s okay! I am just happy that we were able to hear mass before we leave for our vacation.
Today… ...
I was able to cook, wash our clothes, clean our room and work. I am a bit lazy and super tired but I have to do all of this because I feel that I am running out of time. Tomorrow we will be spending it outside our house because the husband wants to shop. I think metal step stools are part of our shopping list. Well, I am just happy that we are not rushing to buy Christmas gift because we are done with that already. All is left is for us to buy stuff that we will be using for winter. I am one excited woman!
Whenever he comes home the husband would give me his booking reference so that I could check his flight schedule and monitor it before he arrives. Emirates has this service wherein they would text you if the flight has already arrived or is delayed. When I received the email, I tried checking the details but unfortunately the website always tell me that the numbers I have are wrong. I told the husband that and he told me he would forward the correct one to me once he is not busy. Day passed and I still don’t have the details. Then Thursday morning I received a message from him that he had spend his night fixing a customer machine and would only be sleeping at around 3AM KW time. In cases like that I would wait until it’s 10PM our time to call him. Unfortunately, he was not answering my calls on VIBER and when I switched via GSM my call were forward via voice mail. Pass 11PM, I was so relieved when he answered the phone. And to my surprise he told me he is already in the country and on his way to Manila Pen. Imagine that! Oh yeah, he have this plan that we can spend the day in the hotel while the little girl is in school. Unfortunately, the schedule of the little girl was changed and they have a practice. In the end, the plan was aborted but he was able to surprise the little girl by showing up in her school.
For the kids ...
Last Christmas the kids ( my daughter plus her cousins) got some expensive gifts from us. Now, I am trying to think of gifts that would top those that we gave them last year. And I am having a hard time thinking what to give them. Of course, we can buy them some buy ps3 games but I am thinking to give them something that is not gadget or accessories to their gadgets. I think we will just give some money to my eldest nephew who is already 14 years old and is not happy anymore with our choices for him. lol. As for the girls I guess it’s time to introduce them to using diaries. As for our daughter, she keeps on asking her to buy LALALOOPSIE DOLLS. Well, I’ll just buy her that and when we are in Kuwait, I’ll just let her daddy spoil her 
I was browsing through the ticketworld website since I wanted to check the shows that are being held during the husband’s one week vacation here. And what would you, I found out that the showing of Sound of Music was extended to Dec 29. Oh pity! I wanted the three of us to watch it but the first time I check the showing is only until 2nd week of Dec. Now, I am thinking of re watching it with the husband. haha. Or we can watch Seussical. It’s disappointing the Disney on Ice will be held when we are out of the country. So, the little girl won’t be able to watch it.
MUJI ...
I have an opportunity to visit MUJI some time last November. I wanted to see what the hype was all about. I wanted to check out their furniture and find something that we could used at home. Unfortunately, I was not able to see some foam mattress and was not impressed with their collection. For me, they are a bit overpriced. As I said I will take Ikea anytime of the day. But I was so happy with their clothing line. Perfect for the cold weather and what more I got some for my size. I end up buying lots and getting over the budget. Still I reason that all the things that I bought are in preparation to our vacation which will subject us to sub zero weather.
I have decided not to put in any Christmas Decors. First because I am not really on my element right now. A simple task would give me severe fatigue and my mood is on the lowest. Second, we won’t be here on Christmas day and would be out of the country for a good part of January. And when we come back I know I won’t have the energy to pack away the decorations. So, yes, I decided not to put in any. I have not heard any complain from the little girl so no pressure there. Hopefully next year I would find the energy
Last year when I was bedridden because of my knee operation, we have tried the services of a cleaning agency. I don’t have a choice since the dust is piling up because I am immobilized and cannot do my usual cleaning routine. I was impressed with their thoroughness and they really had our floors shining because part of their services is scrubbing and waxing. Unfortunately that was the only time I called them because unfortunately there fee does not fit much on my monthly budget. And I also decided that I really wanted to do the cleaning by myself so that I am sure that every little corner is dust free. But now I am rethinking of my decision. It seems despite the fact that I am a stay at home mom, I still have a very demanding schedule and cleaning the house has been a total challenge for me. So, I am trying to research a much cheaper agency that offers cleaning of houses. This is when I stumble upon the Maid Service Rockville MD. I am impressed on what I have seen on their website. You can even learn more about them by calling their hotline or try engaging on a conversation with their online support. Based on my experience, it is much better on having a crew come in your house to clean it up. Especially if those which are send to you are well trained and insured individual. You have a worry free way of cleaning your house.

I read this entry about a sister complaining about his brother’s assignment. Based on her post, seems like the Computer teacher asked her students to like a certain page in Facebook. And if the kids don’t have an FB account they should have to create one since the activity is a graded hands on activity. Seems that the page that the teacher asked them to like is a page regarding a contest where her daughter is participating. The blogger put in also the comments made by the teacher on the page that she made some magic because her daughter’s like increased a lot. This entry have gained some attention. Even the teacher involved commented on the post asking for understanding. This is only one of the proof how powerful blogging is nowadays. Hopefully this will serve as a lesson also to teachers to make sure that what they asked their student is within the student handbook. Because I know there a teachers out there who are devoted to their work and would go by the rules but there are those teachers out there who abused their authority. So be very careful because someone out there is watching.
