It just one of those days. I am tired, fatigue is setting in. I wanted to fight it but I know I would end up in bed again if I pretend I am feeling nothing. And because of the fatigue I have yet to accomplish what I have to. That is general cleaning. I have to do it next week while on sem break. This way I won’t be going outside and would only focus on the house. After cleaning, the decorations will be up. And because I am tried and not feeling so Christmassy, I am temped not to decorate. But as life would have it, I have a five year who is now conscious of the season. I need some help putting the lights on the outside so I would be asking the repair man’s help. This is such a huge task which I am not looking forward to do. Oh yeah, I am the GRINCH 
Costume Made ...
We would be bringing our cameras again in school for two consecutive days. The kids have activities and they would be coming in their respective costume. I wish I have a new canon t1i rather than my Sony. But I am not complaining. I have two cameras and both are still in top condition. Speaking of costume, I decided to have my daughter’s Hogwarts robe just be sewn by a nearby dressmaker. And since I was so happy with the price they gave me, I decided to buy some more fabric for my daughter’s shirt and my dress. I am not yet sure what the result will be but if I am happy with the result I would be asking them to make some more of my dresses. I really hope they are good.
If there is one thing that always caught my attentions are poster with advertising that I am interested. Sometimes they are about sales in nearby places especially for shoes since we are from Marikina, or new restaurant or lessons that are applicable for my daughter. And so when I saw this tarpaulin I have to try and get the contact numbers…
Unfortunately, when I always pass by the place where the tarp was posted I cannot seem to get the telephone number because our ride ( either car or tricycle ) is so fast. Desperate, I try using the most effective way to search — the Internet. And yes, I found it. The studio is located at Marikina Sports Complex Building, 7th Floor.
I have been searching for long hdmi cables in the net for days now. Instead of going to the store I prefer just ordering online so that they can just ship the product to me. I prefer that transaction. Then while doing my search I remember the tarpaulin that I am trying very hard to see while we are riding. It caught my attention because its says BALLET and GYMNASTICS. Unfortunately, our ride is always fast that I cannot even get the number of the bottom part of the poster. I decided to just search the net and I am so happy to find it’s multiply account. They are indeed giving gymnastics and ballet lessons in Marikina Sports Center. And according the person I was talking to via text message they have their lessons during Fridays and Saturdays. And we were invited to see them practice. Yehey! I am so happy. But I can decided yet what the little girl should enroll into. She likes ballet but the husband and I like gymnastics I would just go with the flow. Will go on friday and see from there!
Projects Done ...
I have to stop blogging for a while because I have to finished some of the upcoming projects of my daughter. Well, they are part of her costume. This Friday they would be celebrating the United Nations day and she would be coming in a Chinese costume. I borrowed it from a fellow mom ( so I have some savings there!). Then, I have to print the flag of China. Good thing I was able to do some mirror image so I just printed the flag. Next, I had to look for a Gryffindor logo for her robe. She is really bent on being Hermione. And thankfully I am done already so I will resumed blogging before cooking Chopsuey for dinner.
I have so much in my plate right now. A lot of things to think about but I am not at all stressed out on my thoughts. In fact as I told the husband I am a bit excited for our future. I don’t know why but I just have this positive feeling on what has to come our way. I guess, it has to do with the upcoming Christmas season and our trip out of the country. I think we will be out for over a month if my body cooperates. Before that, I have to deal first with the upcoming UN activity of the little girl plus the Trick or Treat. I still need to shop for the treats. Then, after that I could start buying gift for Christmas. Last night I went searching for supplier and I am so happy I found one. And the price is a lot cheaper as compared to the one I was supposed to buy. So, that’s already one off our list. Next, I am wondering what to give to family. I wonder if they would appreciate the battery operated candles from smartcandle.com. Actually when I saw the candles I was a bit surprised because it was the first time I learned about it. But as I look into the products, I can say that it’s a innovated gift and one that I want for myself also. You see when I always used a candle I am also worried because of it’s flame and that when it melt it might cause a fire. I know I am a paranoid but I cannot help it. So, I think this battery operated candle might work for me.
Up and about! ...
Every year in our street there is a big house that really put in so many christmas lights. It looks like one of those house in Policarpio St. And this house has already been featured in tv programs like the Rated K of Korina Sanchez. So, this year we are looking forward to it. And fortunately, it still continues it’s tradition. This week, I have been around two or three men working already in putting the design and the lights. Maybe before All Souls Day the lights would be shining again in our street.
Garage Door ...
My daughter has been asking me why don’t we have a car. She said she is getting tired of riding cab when we go out. I explained to her why we were not buying any vehicle as of the moment. I told her I don’t like to drive and so she said that I should let her dad do the driving when he is on vacation. I shared this question with my fellow moms and they told me that I should start to consider driving already. I told them I could but one of the main reason why I don’t like to have a car is because I am quite apprehensive about our security. With the numerous news about carjacking and robing in our nearby community it makes me nervous thinking that it would only me and my daughter when we go home and no one will open the gate. The husband told me that he would be making our gate an automatic opener. I guess, in the nearby future we would be considering services like the garage door installation maricopa az. It would be wise for our garage door to be automatic because I don’t have a helper who would be opening the gate for us. So aside from my driving capabilities we would also consider our security.
In school, I am chatting with my fellow moms in my daughter’s school and despite the fact that we would be busy again hunting for costumes and doing some props and cooking some foods or buying them we are looking forward to the school activities. Just yesterday we received a letter about the United Nations Day. The kids are requested to come in a national costume of our choice plus the flag and food of the country. I am thinking of using a Chinese costume for my daughter. But my options are still open. Then, after this is the 2nd quarter exam, then trick or treat and afterward pet jamming. And after all those activities will be saying hello to Father Christmas. Yes, it would be a busy last quarter for us.
Collectibles ...
October is just around the corner and it’s time to start buying gifts for Christmas. I already have an idea what to buy but I am still looking around. As always, I wanted to give gifts that describe the receiver or something that will be used. As for the kids, I am planning on giving them something personalized. I am scouting for a store that would be able to provide me what I needed. And hopefully I would be able to purchased them before the Christmas rush. I know I would be dealing with it because the activities right now and in my daughter’s school are starting to pile up. I don’t want to be trapped in the rush because I know that would stressed me out.
