My older brother is an artist. He is also a lover of art so he likes to attend exhibit and be part of the exhibit. We siblings have different profession you know. My brother who is the eldest loves to work with art so he is a cartoonist, caricaturist, graphic artist etc. He is good in both the traditional and that uses technology. My older sister is good with numbers and have a career with the bank. Ever since she graduated from college (which is 16 years ago) she has been dealing with numbers and bank accounts. While me, the youngest, have been geared in the information technology department. At first I really don’t have any interest in computers but when I enrolled on my course, I don’t have a choice but to make sure I excel in it. See, how different we are? But we have something in common, the love for art. So, if we see Zurich design we would be able to talk and discussed about it.

When I was a kid, I love having a dog as a pet. In fact, before I even reach 2nd grade I already had three dogs. Unfortunately, all three have died due to vehicles running over them. It is such a painful experience for me as a kid and my mom seeing the grief I have to experience had enough of it so she told me to stop having a pet when my third dog died. I also remember her telling me to stop crying because I might not have tears if she will be the one to die. Unfortunately, that was not true. When she tried, I cried a lot and until now after 16 years I still cry when I remember her.

I always forget that I have to do some check ordering. Actually I already have two booklet of checks but unfortunately the government agency which we issue checks for our house loan wants a different kind of check as compared to the usual one that we are using. I think it’s a new ruling which was issued last year. I have only known about it when I gave them the 12 checks which we will be using for the current year. Unfortunately when I asked the customer representative in their helpline she told me that it’s better that I go visit the bank. But I was not able to do so because of my operated knee.

As early as now I am asking my sister to accompany me to buy some gift bags for my little girl’s 5th birthday. Her birthday would be in July and since I have the habit of planning early, I know it’s just the right time. Actually I don’t plan anything big for her this year. But since it’s a practice to throw a party in her school I am thinking of putting some nice stuff in her classmate’s loot bag. Last school year, the kids have a lot of fun every time one of their classmates celebrates his/her birthday. Not only were they treated with good food they also have stuff to take home. In exchange the birthday celebrant received gifts from her classmates. When the little girl was the one who celebrates her birthday, we have two or three shopping bags filled with gifts. IT’s a happy day for the kids, really!

My daughter has been asking me for sometime now to give her a pet. Right now we have a fish for her but I think it’s not enough for her because she cannot play with it. As she said, the fish only swims. Lol. So, we are still asking her daddy if we can be allowed to have pets in the house. Unfortunately, considering our condition, wherein I have an illness and get tired easily, having another body to take care of is a bit of concern of my husband. He does not want me to get tired and just conserved my energy to take care of our daughter. He knows how I hate clutter and thinks that picking up Toys for cats one by one would take its toll on me.

My daughter has a penchant for flags. When we travel she would always want to sit on my lap because she wanted to see the custom flags on our way to our destination. Or when we go to the grocery she wants to take out all the flags that are in the product rack. I always tell her we cannot get them but when some salesman or saleslady hear us arguing they would gladly hand in one of the flags to her. You know my little girl is a real charmer. Leave her for a minute and she can come up with a conversation with a stranger (young or old). She has this easy smile for everyone and won’t mind talking and saying hi to people that she sees for the first time. Also, she always asked questions about everything she sees.

In today’s world, every individual is busy. We tend to forget others because we are always looking out for ourselves and our immediate family. We sometimes neglect helping others and the world we live in. That’s why I am always impressed with nature fundraiser. They unselfishly devote their time and effort to create a project that will surely help others in need. Actually I always give a salute to people who think of nature first before there self. I know there are a lot of those who proclaimed to love nature and would be openly writing or talking about it but if you look at their actions, you will see that they are just one of those pretenders. It’s really hard to be a nature lover but if it’s what you really want I know everything will be a lot easier. And if you put your 100% in it, everything will succeed.

I am looking for personalized engraved anniversary gifts to give to the husband. We will be celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary this May and I am quite pressured because I want to give him the best gift. Also after our anniversary would be the wedding of a good friend and I wanted to give them a personalized gift. I have been looking for a necklace wherein their names are engraved on it. This way we won’t be giving them those common gift which newly weds received. I hope it’s not to late for me to order.

This week has been busy for me. And at the end of the day I am exhausted. I am not used to being in action for the whole day and also fatigued is one of the symptoms of my illness. On Monday, we went to St. Lukes for my check up. After that in the afternoon we started with the swimming lessons. Even if I am only watching, during the night I feel that my muscles are sore because of the activity.

My husband is a big fan of anything electronics. From Electronics Parts to electronic gadgets, he would simply be delighted just looking at them and dissecting them. He would be busy for hours just trying to piece the parts together to invent something out of it. Or he could disassemble a gadget for the pure pleasure of knowing its component and how it works. And I know he can simply identify the parts at partsimple.com when the need arises. So don’t be surprised when you go to our house and see those complicated electronic things. Well, our setup is simpler as compared to the one they have in their pad in Kuwait. Since he is sharing it to an officemate who is also an engineer, they were able to put in the PC, XBOX, DVD to work together so that they can play, watch, and, surf the internet and download files using their big LCD TV as a monitor. I am telling you, it took me about two weeks to figure out how it works.
