We have been here in Kuwait for a month now. There are still things that we have not yet done. Like cleaning up the other room to turn it into the room of the little girl. I am still a bit hesitant of putting her in another bedroom. You can say it’s separation anxiety. haha. But I know I have to let go since she is growing old already. So, I have to agree with the husband that it’s time already. But unfortunately ( or fortunately ) we can seem to find time to arrange the bedroom nor shop for a bed or canvass for mattresses that would be best for her. We are thinking of getting one that she approves so that we can lure her to sleep in her own bed.

May 10 election is fast approaching. I have not heard any news from home except for those that I accidentally come across through twitter and facebook and the internet in general. Funny how people would debate through twitter. If they are rooting for a different candidate chances are they would exchange twitter messages and most of the time some cursing. It’s really not a good thing.

Milan is not yet in the list of countries that we can visit in the near future but I am hoping that one day we would be able to flight out and enjoy it’s beauty. And we could even used those Milan Airport Car Hire. It’s a good thing they have a car service there. It would save us a lot of headache. I am really a bit apprehensive when it comes to hiring a airport car. You see I got some not so good experience with them way back home. Every time we go to the airport (either in the departure or arrival area), this car are way too expensive. That’s why it’s nice to have anyairportcarhire.com. I just hope we got to used their services because we are visiting Milan. haha. Wishful thinking!

I am currently using a wireless connection to the internet and it’s crawling. The internet here in the building has gone wonky again. But I don’t have a choice because I need to finished some jobs. I am also sleepy. The little girl is already asleep but the husband is not yet at home. He needs to work again. Actually he was already home when an officemate called him. Apparently he needs to go out for a customer call. Sigh. I am thinking if I should wait for him or not.

Last Thursday while having dinner, the husband and N were discussing the website that was created for their organization. Seems like the site was already nearing its renewal and their discussing the payment option. Well, the site is still up and they really are not worried since one of the member is the admin and is the one who is responsible for the site.

I was checking the calendar when I realized that the week after next, would already be May and I would be celebrating my 31st birthday. haha. I love the month of May because of three things. My birthday, mother’s day and our wedding anniversary. Right now I am thinking what gift would I like to received. Actually I wanted to received a new phone, a ring, and flowers. But as my birthday grows near, I realized I don’t want any material things. What I want right now is something that would make our family stay together. And I wish and pray to God that HE would grant it to us.

We will be buying some printed boxes later and after that I think I wanted to have steak for dinner. lol. I was not happy with the steak that was served to us last Thursday at Ruby Tuesday. It was not juicy at all. But I still enjoyed my salad even if it consist of lettuce and cucumber and eggs only. lol. Right now I am still craving for steak. That’s why I wanted to eat at Fridays. I have this receipt from our last dinner there and it has a coupon code which would give us discount on our next meal. I can’t wait to used it. haha. I’ll just have to persuade the husband to eat at Fridays tonight.

I was teasing the husband that since he knew I wanted to buy an LV bag that he avoids going to the mall where the LV store is located. haha. So yesterday to prove me wrong, after our dinner, he drove us to the mall. We parked the car and walked to the other side of the street where the entrance was located. When we were inside, I was really impressed. The mall was so classy. The first shop that I saw was Cartier, Lacoste and there was a Jaguar being raffled off. hmm. But I am a bit surprised that it’s not crowded and most of the stores were closed. And we have not walked further when the husband approached a guard and asked him if the mall was close. Indeed it was close. haha. My LV was not meant to be. lol. I can’t help but remember the phrase…so near yet so far.

Yesterday I decided to wear a tshirt that I was avoiding to wear because it’s a little bit tight for me. When I wear it, it shows the fats that I am trying to hide. haha. I decided to wear it because I feel that I have shed off some pounds. No, I have not tried using some weight loss supplement but I have tried cutting off my intake. And it helps that there is no pork here. And I was so happy when I discovered that my instinct was right. I indeed lose some weight because the shirt is not too tight on me. hehe. I hope this would continue.

I already forgot how frustrating it is when your plan did not push through because of work. When the husband was still working in the Philippines, there are times when we have to postponed our planned activities because of customer calls. I remember one time we were enjoying a good movie, when his phone rings. Apparently there is a machine that is not working and needed his immediate attention. So in the middle of the movie, we went out of the movie house, and he sent me back home. Frustrating really. Until today, I have not finished that movie. lol.
