I have this strong urge nowadays to work around the kitchen. I have been mostly cooking for the little girl since she really prefer having the meals that I cooked than stuff that we buy from the fastfood. Since she is eating so well I am motivated to be experimental when it comes to what snacks to feed her. Now, I wanted to bake again. I was able to find an easy recipe for chocolate cupcake. I wanted to bake it today but unfortunately the grocery does not have a shortening which is one of the ingredients. That made me sad. haha. But tomorrow I’ll try the other grocery since I would also be picking up some stuff for our meals and snacks for the mini swimming party/drinking session with my mommy friends and our kids on Saturday.

We still cannot get over the age of the teacher of Anevay. Ever discussion that we have ( with my fellow mommies ) leads to talking about her and her youthful look. I wish I can age beautifully as her. Now, she is our motivation to beautify ourselves. If only I can go and have an Edmonton Botox that would be a big boost not only to my skin but also my confidence. Unfortunately even if I have been subjected to the needle a couple of times already I am still quite scared of it. That’s why I am staying away from all kinds of injection and surgery. haha. Ironic, isn’t it?

My mommy friends from school knows our plan to visit the husband. So, they are a bit sad that the little girl and I won’t be able to joined them for all the summer fun that we are planning before. But before we leave we would surely have a jam packed activity. On Saturday we would be going to the house of a mommy friends where the kids would be swimming in the portable swimming pool which is big enough for all five kids. While us mom would be having a drinking session ( well, that excludes me since I don’t drink! lol!). Then on March 6, we would be attending a birthday party at Mc Donalds. After which we would be heading again to the house of a friend for another session. haha.

Budgeting is not my favorite job. haha. But I have to do it or I will end up acquiring the services of goodsamfinancecenter.com. This month I am glad that I was able to put in a big amount on our savings account since the money that the husband remitted is huge despite the fact that he still needs to pay for our airfare. I am just glad that we did not used his miles in the past when I was tempted to get the ipod from the promo of the airline. His miles will pay for my airfare while his airfare will be bought through a promo also. lol. Huge savings for us! Since we are leaving I decided not to pursue my plan of building a toy cabinet yet. I inquired yesterday with a nearby shop and they said that it would cost me around 5k for it. Excluding the glasses. That made me think back. So I postponed it. Maybe, when were back then I will continue with the plan. For now, all unnecessary expenses would be shoved under the table and the money put in the back. I wanted to have emergency pocket money just in case. hehe.

The husband told me that he would just be coming home for a short visit. Maybe, he will be flying home by Thursday to be here on Friday, then Saturday will attend the little girl’s Moving Up day and on Sunday we will be off to the country where he works. So all the preparation and packing would be on my hand. I need to make sure the necessary documents are with me. Birth Certificate, Marriage contract and I am even planning to include some medical documents for me and the little girl. I want to get the list of vaccines she has from her pedia while on the other hand I need to talk to my doctor regarding my health. I want some documents with me that contains my medical background just in case some untoward things happen (which I am praying won’t really happen). Also, even if the husband is telling me that we would just buy stuff from there so I need to pack lighter, I still wanted to bring the Leapster and Click Start of Anevay. Even if the husband have already set up a desktop on their pad for the little girl. I would be bringing my laptop also. As for our bills I can pay our MERALCO, PLDT, PAGIBIG LOAN, EAST WEST CC and GLOBE through online banking. What I can’t pay online is the DESTINY CABLE, MANILA WATERS, and INSURANCE plus my METROBANK CC. I need to asked the help of my brother for this one. Hopefully I can finished all this before our flight.

Today my mommy friends from the preschool of the little one were amazed to find out that one of the teacher of my daughter is already 50 years old! We don’t want to believe it because she really don’t look her age! We were laughing saying that we even look older than she was. haha. And not only that, she already has four offspring who are college student. Man! If only we could look like her. No, she isn’t into glamorous stuff. She is a sweet and simple lady. We were saying maybe if we could lose all those bulges by using some nordic track equipment, we might attained a younger look. But unfortunately, we all like to eat. In fact, four of us trooped to a friends house which is just a few minutes from the school to eat a healthy and yummy breakfast (with fried rice). All that cholesterol. haha.

I am not talking about the cornstarch that I used for cooking. I am talking about the cornstarch or gawgaw where you soak clothes and bed sheets. When I was young I used to hate the texture of our bed sheets after being soaked in gawgaw. But my mommy always do that. And she also do that in our white clothes. The collar of this clothes will stand on there own because of the gawgaw and I loathe that. haha.

As a child I have been pretty amazed by the beauty of the greenhouses that I have seen. It gives me a refreshing feeling to see a lot of green in a covered space. Because of this, I have grown up wishing that someday I would own hundred of acres of land and I would build a greenhouse in there. Not only would I be helping mother Earth in my own way, I would always be producing my own fruits and vegetables. I just hope that my wish would come true before I gave in to my joint pains because of LUPUS. haha.

The commercial space in front of our house have its occupant already. The space has four stalls. The first two stall is for a business that includes tutorial for CAD and piano. I am not sure how would they mixed that up since music can be distracting. And then another space for LAVANDERA KO. Third space is still empty and has no banner announcing what would occupy it. And the fourth one, which actually the sister and I are looking forward to open is the salon. Yeah, I just need to cross the street when I needed some pampering. haha.

Who would not want some more funds coming in your pockets every month? I think everybody does. That’s why there is a constant need for us to find ways to earn more. It’s such a blessing that we have the world wide web this days. The internet is a big help when it comes to generating income. We can apply for jobs online, market our products online and even search for potential customers. All we need is a connection and of course our determination to give it our best shot.
