Merry Christmas ...
Today will be a busy one as well as tomorrow. I don’t know if I can go online once the day starts. It isn’t starting yet for me since I am in front the computer and the little girl is still in dream land. But after updating this home I would have to hang the clothes that I washed and then wait for the banks and the grocery stores to open.
Stressed out! ...
I don’t want to admit it but really the holiday is stressing me out. This week has given me a lot of headaches (not to mention body aches from my lupus) and I am just glad that it’s nearing Christmas already. I have to take a break from time to time and channel my mind in order for the stress not to eat me up.
In between preparing for the holidays and the home coming of the husband I still have to settle some bills and research for some stuff. Yes, indeed, a mother’s work is never finished. I have to look for the key man insurance that the husband is asking me too. Hopefully I can find some useful information that I can share with him once he is home.
Finally, just few days before Christmas, last Monday, I was able to scrubbed the floors in the living room, rearranged furniture and put up our Christmas tree. It was a huge task but I am glad about the outcome. Especially when I saw the reaction of the little girl. I thought I won’t be able to make it since last year it was the husband who put it up. But now armed with the determination and the thought of the smiles that I would received from the kids (not just from Anevay) I decided to have it done. And boy! It was fun. Here are some pics.
Anime ...
My eleven year old nephew is a big anime fan. Because of this I have also tried dipping my feet in watching one or two for the reason that most of those anime are turned into hit Asian Dramas. I think the writers really can capture the audience from the very first page or chapter of their creation.
One time while he was at our home, he and I had a chat about where he can look for pictures of the characters for the Bleach anime. He wanted to used it as a profile picture for his facebook account. hahah. After that he also explained in length why he love Bleach. Oh well!
Menu and To do ...
I still have some more gifts to wrap. Actually I am only done with the gifts for the school and I have distributed them last Wednesday. The little girl has been receiving lots and lots of gift and that means lots and lots of mess (hahaha! But I am really thankful for all those who remember us!). I have not yet shopped for gifts for family members. That would wait till next week when I am done with putting up the Christmas. Yes, I still have not yet put it up. Because I was too busy, too lazy and too sick to start decorating.
iTunes ...
I am browsing through Facebook and stumble upon the iTunes fan page . Believe it or not, I don’t have an Ipod. But my sister does and I am the one who download songs for her through iTunes. The husband was telling me to buy one but I told him since I don’t travel that much and I only stay at home wherein I have the cd player, dvd and even my computer and cellphone at my disposal every time I want music so I really don’t need it at this time.
I saw this in the news last night and it reminds me that I wanted to go up and look at their Santa Collection. So this morning I searched them up on the internet and found their page at 88db.com. I got some pictures also of the casa from that page.

Web Hosting ...
A lot of friends are intrigued by what I am doing at home. Some even want to dip their fingers into it. So they are trying to squeeze out information from me about web hosting. As much as I wanted to help them and answer every single question they dished out on me I can’t because I am always running out of time.
To somehow lessen my guilt that I can’t devote my time tutoring them with the ins and outs of web hosting I told them to read the articles at webhostingfan.com. The site has a lot of interesting articles which will keep you informed of what web hosting is. I for one like their article about the Bandwidth vs Transfer. I learned a thing or two just from that write up.
I have been so intrigued about the Marikina Christmas Display. They said that it’s like the COD display in Cubao. When I was still young ( I think around five years old). My papa and mommy have brought me to Cubao to witnessed it. Until now the memory of it still comes back to me from time to time. And so to relieve that memory I wanted to see for myself what they did in Marikina.
I am already looking forward to next year. One of the reason why I am excited for 2010 is the prospect that I might be able to come up with the courage to drive. haha. I know how to drive but I have yet to show my skills on the road. And then when I am confident enough to drive we are going to buy a car. As early as now I am already evaluating my choices. The husband has been suggesting that we buy a Honda Jazz because according to him it fits my personality and lifestyle. And there are a lot of honda accessories that I can chose from if ever I decided to add a notch of beauty to the car. But I told him I want a family car. A van maybe. So that the family will be on the vehicle when we go on trip.
