I am in constant communication with my older sister over the weekend. She was also worried about Anevay’s condition. Right now I am in debate if I should subject the little girl to a CBC test. I don’t want her to have another bouts of crying sessions since she has enough already because I forced her to drink her medicine and also I have to put Drixine and Salinase drops in her nostril which she hates. While writing, I got a message from my sister that she heard from the husband of the pedia of her kids that nose bleeding and tummy aches are also symptoms of dengue. That got me worked up. Because last Friday I saw blood in the nose of the little girl. I am not sure if its nose bleed or a wound because she keeps on picking her nose. And just today she keeps on complaining about an ouchy tummy. Because of the message of my sister I researched some more. And I found out that in dengue sometimes the fever would go down on the third and fourth day. God! We are on our third day and the fever of the little girl went down. So, I would go for the CBC never mind the crying. But definitely that would give me a heavy heart.
I think every mom has to go through the stage of uneasiness and nervousness. That’s the reason why most moms are the epitome of strength and patience because of all the experiences they have to go through from child birth to old age. This weekend has been a tough situation for me. I wish I was able to attend to take up a course on a medical assistant training school for me to have a medical background and somehow calm my thoughts about the high fever of the little girl.
CorningWare ...
Okay, I have given up my dream of owning a Vision set. I went to the mall yesterday with the goal of finding a bowl which I can used to put in the soup for tomorrow’s affair. And to my surprised I found VISION in the said mall. But I was hesitant to buy it because of the price and second it does not go well with my white dinnerware at home. When the salesman saw me in front of their racks thinking, he approached me and told me that they have stuff like those in Vision in CORNINGWARE. I asked him to show it to me and was quite smitten by its color — white. I asked the salesman if it’s the same as VISION wherein you can put in on the stove. He said yes and also its microwaveable! So I purchased it! haha.
Okay, today, the little girl and I went to the mall to do some shopping of course. It would be the first of many trips for us because I am trying to shop little by little and divide the stuff I am going to buy to avoid heavy loads to carry. But unfortunately I am unsuccessful because today I carried five heavy bags. haha. Fortunately, I haven’t gone over the budget ( that is according to my opinion..haha!).
I admit, one of my biggest fear before we purchased our house is foreclosure. I was telling my husband then what will we do when the time comes when that our funds wouldn’t be enough to pay for our house. Being a man with strong faith, he just told me to give up my worries and always think that everything will run smoothly. Fortunately, that holds true for us for now. We have been up to date with our loan and still have some funds to put in our savings. But for others especially this year when the global economic crisis was felt some have loss their homes and at the moment struggling to recover. This is such a sad situation you know. You have worked hard to pay off and owned a house which in the end will just end up in the hands of banks or other lending company.
The Castle Room ...
I am searching for some inspiration online on what to do in our room. Actually our house is made up only two rooms and the other one is being used by my older sister. So for now the little girl is co sleeping with me. And I opt for that because it would be lonelier if she sleeps on a different bed with the husband only coming home twice a year. But I know that there will come a time that I need to start training her to sleep on her own. That’s why I am trying to research about kiddie beds and rooms. And I found a pretty room at HDTV. I am surely the little girl would definitely love it!
For this Christmas holiday, I have decided to have Christmas curtains in our house. I have seen this kinds of curtains in the mall and since I want to dress up our windows for the holiday I am going for it! Aside from that, when I have time I would look for Christmas fabric and would bring it to the curtain maker so that I could have another set which I will be using two weeks before the 25th of December. I think I am entitled to to have two sets because right now I only have one set of curtain which I washed every month and after drying up will used it again. lol. I am not a curtain person so I am contend with just only one set.
This week my ultimate goal is putting up the Christmas tree and decors. I am still thinking what to put on the tree. If I would buy additional ornaments or just stick with the old ones. Like some household, I also would like to come up with a theme for our tree. But unfortunately, I cannot think of anything until now. So for inspiration I tried researching through the Internet. I found something from potterybarn.
They have six Christmas tree ideas and two of which I like. But not really like to the point of copying it.
Office Chairs ...
Since my husband knows that I spend so much time in front of the computer, he suggested that we buy a desktop computer and choose from the wide range of selection of office tables and chairs from the mall and he will buy it for me. That’s because when I used my laptop, I throw postures in the window and would spend hours laying on the floor with it. lol. So, December of last year I was able to acquire my HP desktop, office table and chair. Almost one year after, unfortunately, the chair has shown signs of wear and tear. Not to mention that there is a toddler who keeps on stabbing it with pen. lol. So, now I am on a hunt for a new one.
