Need Checks! ...

Uh..oh! I just realized that I don’t have any checks anymore. I have two check books, one is with the EPCIB logo and the other is with the BDO logo. For the EPCIB, I still have one, and the BDO still has eleven. But the problem is I have to issue twelve PDC to Pagibig before December. Yes! I am on my third year of issuing checks to Pagibig and that only means we are on our third year of paying the housing loan. So far, so good! Thank you Lord!

The Garden ...

Water proofing..done. Repainting…done. Then what’s next? I am in the mood to do some improvement in our house and my next agenda is to beautify our garden. My only doubt right now if I inherited my mom’s green thumb. If not, poor plants and flowers. lol.

Well, the idea came to me when I visited a garden that sells different flowers. I told myself that if ever I got the time, I would buy some flowers and put them in our garden. This way the little girl won’t need to bug me to pick flowers on our neighborhood. haha.

Repainting..Done! ...

Finally after a couple of days, lots of rain, and some thousand bucks shed our gates are repainted. Not only our gates but the wall of the front of our house as well. I am just please that I have another home improvement done. Well, the husband has been telling me that our gates badly needs some repainting some time ago and it was only now that I got the chance to schedule it.

Here is our gate before….

DSC00855taken last Dec 2008. While we are waiting for a cab. As you can see the gates are somehow rustic and the wall have some stains already due to the rain and dirt.

Random Thoughts ...

I am thinking when will the repainting of our gates would be done. Though I am quite confident on the skills of the painter I still cannot help but wonder why its taking so long. Oh well, I know the reason. The weather has been uncooperative. But I am happy with the turn out. I am just excited that’s why I am also impatient.

Water Proofing ...

When Typhoon Ondoy was wrecking havoc in the country, our house was not spared by it, though its just a little inconvenience on my part. At around 11am of that disastrous Saturday, I saw water coming in our house through our kitchen door. I thought it was flood water already but fortunately it was just a leak from our roof. Seems likes the leaves from the tree outside has clogged our gutter. But I have it cleaned just a couple of weeks ago. Oh well.
