Things I LEARN ...
Though we weren’t badly hit by Typhoon Ondoy. Our house is still intact and everything is working out fine, I still have a lot of things that I learned from Ondoy. We did not end up homeless or anything ( to which I am really grateful to the Lord) but our loved ones and friends have sufferred. And also, my brother’s apartment was flooded and end up being muddy. So, his family is staying with us.
From this experience, I learned :
- rechargeable lamps and electric fans are good investment. Though rarely used but when the going gets tough you can relay on them.
I never thought… ...
This morning the rain has stopped. And since the little girl’s allergy are still visible on her skin I decided to go visit the pedia that is just across our street. But first we went to church to attend the morning mass. The attendance for the mass was on all time low. Almost all pews weren’t full as compared to ordinary Sundays. Nah, today was not an ordinary Sunday… I think.
Costume Maker ...
Okay this post will contain both rant and rave. Be warned. lol.
This coming October, the school where my little one is enrolled will be celebrating its foundation day. And to celebrate the event, the kids are asked to perform and the Nursery class will dance an ethnic dance. And so with this activities comes the costume. And the costume that was assigned to us is so hard to find. hahaha. It puts so much pressure to mommies like me. I am exchanging text message to my fellow mom and they are complaining. Good thing, one of the moms told us about the costumes being made right on the 2nd floor of the Marikina market mall. Yeah you read it right. According to the mom, there are a lot of sewers in that area that received request for costume made attire.
Home Service Spa ...

But of course, a homemaker, no matter how busy must RELAX. So, how do you rejuvenate? Me, aside from spending 15 minutes on my portable sauna, I call my favorite home service massage once a week. Yeah, every week I relaxed my tired muscle by having a full body massage. This not only helps me calm my nerves but it also makes my blood circulation better. You know we discovered a few years back that massage really helps me a lot specially when it comes to combating the effects of my illness. That’s why the husband always encouraged me and remind me to have a massage session every week. If you asked him, he wanted me to have one every other day. lol. What a great husband I have, right?
Kumon and Enopi ...

I always see the Kumon Center whenever I got out of our house. One center is located near us. But I don’t pay much attention to it until a fellow preschool mom told us how his four year old son started reading at an early age after being enrolled in Kumon for three months. And so, I suddenly got interested in the program.
Luckily, there are two Kumon Center here in our place. And while looking for the center, I also end up inquiring in Enopi.
Here are the contact details of both Kumon and Enopi here in Marikina :
