Alternative to Soy Sauce and Fish sauce

If my meal includes fried fish then it follows that I need to have soy sauce with kalamansi. My meal won’t be complete without it. That’s why our refrigerator is always stock up with kalamansi. Sometimes when I am in the mood for Century Tuna, either I used fish or soy sauce. But that’s all in the past now. Following the doctor’s strict order and my fear for my health I am now trying my best to avoid both. That’s why I kept on looking for better alternative. Good thing, my doctor made some recommendation. Today I tried using it. I baked some tuna for lunch and what I did was used cucumber soak in vinegar and pepper for additional flavoring. It is so yummy. Now, I have another option. This made me realized that it’s not the end of the world if I removed salt on my diet. haha.

Find Your Dream Home Plans

I admit even if I am happy with our house right now I still cannot help but look into different home plans because I dream that one day we can have another house that the husband design from scratch. When we bought the house we are currently residing it was already built and all we have to do is move in. Though it is what we wanted and more, building our dream house is at the back of my mind. So you can’t blame me if I pray that someday we will be able to purchase hectares of land where we can build a huge house. I wanted one that is spacious and could fit in one of the garage plans that I have seen which was designed for two to three cars. I don’t want to have a restricted space so that’s why our goal is to purchase land and build. Well, good luck to that plan right? At least I have something to look forward to at our retirement age. I wonder what home plan my husband and I can come up with. Would it be as sophisticated as the ones we see at houseplansandmore.com. I always marvel at the blueprints I see at the said website. All are designed and completed by experts to the best specifications. Someday I hope we can hire those experts!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Finally after the a long time I was able to bake. Actually I was planning on baking the cookie two weeks back but I was so busy that I can’t find time. I wanted to bake it as a bonding time for me and the little girl but I decided otherwise because I figured out that it can be really messy. haha. And I think my decision is right. I didn’t realized that I would have a hard time mixing the dough. haha. But I had fun and it’s just a simple recipe to follow.

And here one batch batch…

It’s a bit for my taste but when it cool down I cannot stop myself from eating. I already consumed two. Bad I know!Next project…birthday cake for daddy. Or should I just buy one from Red Ribbon. hahah.

Chloramines

With all the diseases that are being discovered today, we put in a lot of effort to make our environment as clean and free as possible. My day

Woke up 4am or 5am. Cook breakfast and ate it. I know I have to start early because I have to take the opportunity that the little girl is sleeping. After cleaning our tv rack, I ate, then do the laundry. Unfortunately, my washing machine is still unrepaired, still waiting for parts. So I did everything manually. The little volunteers to help me. hahah. I told her I’d rather she play. I finished around 10am, cook lunch while cleaning our room. I found lots and lots of treasure under our bed. haha. That includes toys, hair clip etc. After lunch, the little girl and I took a nap. But since I have tasked on hand I only had mine for about 30 mins. Then I move along with cleaning all the toys in the toy rack. I finished around 7pm, cook dinner and now I am done. Happily accomplished. To wrap up my day, I got the chance to chat with the husband..yahoo! That’s my day! Oppss…it isn’t finished yet. I still have to do some school activities with the little girl and menu planning.

Office supply

When I was still working one of the things that I was tasked is to issue office supply to those who needed it. Actually I don’t know how I end up being in charged but one day I just realized I am holding a lot of keys which are used to open the cabinets for the supplies in the office. Actually I am not strict when giving out one, all you need to do is asked and I will give it to you. But of course, I also give out with some discretion or else my manager might think I cannot handle such a simple task. Most of the time, it’s the office paper that we ran out. That’s because it’s one of the mostly used stuff. And because I handle the issuance of the supplies, it only follows that I have to handle the ordering as well. I tell you, all this tasked ended on my lap without me realizing how that situation came to be. That’s the reason maybe that when I file my resignation the company really persuade me to stay. Unfortunately they can’t give anything that would make me stay. Fortunately, before I left I was able to establish a good relationship with an office supply store so they did not have a hard time with their supplies unlike before. I really cannot believe my luck! I am happy that God has been answering my prayers in the most unexpected way. I have been deeply problematic because of my health condition. Much as I want to deny it but somehow LUPUS have already affected my left kidney. I am quite scared but I am holding on to my faith and the knowledge that many lupus patients have gone through this stage but still they are alive. So, what I just need to do is religiously take my medicine and eat healthy.

Speaking of medicine, do you know how much I spend in a day? Well, roughly about Php 700 per day. Yeah, that much! It even exceeds our food consumption. My only consolation is that seems like my LUPUS is responding to it but still the expenses are high. So I was talking to god that I really have to find a way to help my husband with the expenses. When in front of the computer I would beg God to send some more work on my way. And He responds. Not only that he gave me a little extra on the side. Just this morning someone approach me and gave me an offer. I did not expect it and it was a big boost to my funds. And would you believe I was even given monetary bonus. The business was done within five minutes. Thank You Lord. I know you’ll always be there for me!

Time to Buy

As the year is coming to a close I am excited with all the plans that we have. Well, I hope we can carry them all out but I know one or two would just be put aside first to make for another. Right now, I still have a lot of unfinished business. For one, I need to tuned up my driving skills because one way or the other, we really have to buy a car and I have to drive. Especially since the little girl is bugging me already that she does not want her school bus but rather wants a car of our own. When I told this to the husband he just told me to buy one already. lol. As if it’s that easy. Well, come to think of it, I have to do it by the way as well as scouting for cheap auto insurance. But as I told him, if we are going to Kuwait for a vacation this December the car has to wait. We need to check first all our funds and make sure we won’t be short. Hopefully God will let us go for a vacation. Lord please!
